Luxor, which lies on the river Nile, was the great ancient city of Thebes, the capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom. With the new ultra-slim Cyber-shot TX7 from Sony, we visited and photographed the ruins of the magnificent temple complexes of Karnak, Luxor on the East Bank and Hatshepsut, Medinet Habu on the West Bank - all of these temples predated the Parthenon.
