Museums

Whenever we come to Washington DC, we visit the national museums of the Smithsonian Institution in the Mall because they are our favorite museums in the United States. This summer, we visited the museums with a Canon PowerShot SD4000 IS and took pictures of some of our old favorite artworks and a few new ones as well. Flash photography is forbidden in the museums, but the fast 2.0 lens and the excellent image stabilization feature of the SD4000 IS still allowed us to capture excellent images with the existing light.
Viewing Tips
The photo gallery is best viewed when the browser is maximized or in fullscreen mode (on many browsers, fkey F11 switches to and from fullscreen mode). Arrow keys can also be used to navigate forward and backward.
