San Francisco
April 2011
The XZ1 compact from Olympus, with a fast zoom lens, 1.8 at the 28mm wide end and 2.5 at 112mm telephoto, proves a worthy challenger to the other fast-lens compacts from Panasonic and Canon, namely the Lumix LX5 and PowerShot S95.
We brought the XZ1 to take pictures inside the museums in San Francisco to see how it'd perform with available light without flash. The camera performed brilliantly with great image quality for a compact. Outside exposures were also beautiful.
