TAIPEI
November 2011
Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is not your typical picturesque photographic destination, but we found much to like about the city: its friendly people, a good mixture of traditional and modern life, and the amazing must-see collection of Chinese art at the National Palace Museum.
We spent several hot but enjoyable days exploring the city on foot and bicycle. We took the pictures with a 16mm Sony NEX C3 kit, all in the 16:9 vertical format because we like its expressive quality, especially with a wide angle lens.
The camera's compact size makes its presence discreet, which is helpful for taking candid pictures in the street. We thoroughly enjoyed using the camera and are pleased with the image quality of the pictures.
