MYANMAR (BURMA)
March 2013
Late last year we went to visit and took pictures in Myanmar (formerly Burma) with a Sony Cyber-shot RX100. The trip was a memorable one as Myanmar is changing rapidly after many years of isolation. Plus, the people of the country were very gracious and friendly - to both visitor and camera. We were more than pleased with the RX100: small, discreet and responsive, it also delivered high-quality 20-megapixel images.
Unlike other Sony cameras, the RX100 has a 1:1 square image format, which we used to take the Myanmar pictures. We also put the camera in the Toy Camera Warm Picture Effect mode because we like the warm saturated look.
