PRISHTINA (Kosovo)

June.2009

Prishtina, the capital of the recently founded Republic of Kosovo is not exactly what we'd call a city on the beaten path, but that's precisely why we were glad to have gone there to try out the Lumix ZS3 compact superzoom from Panasonic.

For a country that has gone through much turmoil, Kosovo is remarkably relaxed and easygoing, and the people friendly, considerate and polite. Prishtina simultaneously has both a small town feel and an urban vibe, and it is growing more cosmopolitan. There's a large presence of international organizations and staff in the city.

The capital is small, perfect for exploring on foot, and of course with a camera in hand. We put our ZS3 under a good amount of use and were impressed with its performance. Most pictures in this photo gallery were taken in Prishtina, a few in other locations around the country.
